Issue 6 | It's Been a Minute...
Ok, it's been a lot longer, and lots of life has happened in between...
Hi Friends!
Looking back at my life in February 2024 when I wrote my last Substack post, I was experiencing imposter syndrome, winter blues, and trying to make sense of my life…
Since then, I’ve had some… extreme life changes. I found out I was pregnant, I grew that little human, gave birth, survived the newborn stage, navigated breastfeeding and returning to work, and somewhere in the midst of this, I’ve been trying to find myself. If I thought I felt like an imposter then, boy, do I feel like one now!
Somehow, my little one is a one (!!) year old! I feel like I blinked at the start of 2024, and am now finally opening my eyes and it’s almost the end of 2025. This has been the most beautiful, messy, overwhelming, rewarding, emotional, and humbling experience of my life (thus far). And somewhere amidst the chaos, I’m trying to carve out space for gentler routines, exploring my creative and softer side, rediscover things that bring me joy, and trying to find a place to write again. So… hi. Here I am again. A little older, a lot more caffeinated, and leaning into a gentler way of living (as much as my toddler will allow).
So it feels like the right time to return to this lovely little corner of the internet. Over the next few weeks, here are a few series you can look forward to:
